May 26: SoulCare with Artist Day

SoulCare with Artists Day is part of the fourth annual Artist Week at Rolling Ridge Retreat and Conference Center, taking place May 26–29, 2026, with overnight options available. Artist Week is a spacious opportunity to spend time with other creative folks who are discovering the divine intersection of art and spirituality and expressing beauty through images and words. Our Moses Meeting will be converted into a community Art Studio for the week with workshops and space for artistic expression in all its diversity of forms. You are invited to bring your art supplies and journal to capture the ways you will be inspired by the beauty of the land and the people you will meet as you create during the week. Draw, write, paint, sculpt, create, follow the creative lead of the Creative Spirit.

May 27: Mico Kaufman Sculpture Field Trip Tour

Discover the works of award-winning sculptor Mico Kaufman (1924–2016). As part of Artist Week 2026, this special program will begin at Rolling Ridge Retreat and Conference Center, where guests will explore Kaufman’s sculptures installed on campus since 2019. Participants will then travel to view additional works in Tewksbury, Massachusetts and Lowell, Massachusetts, including the well-known “Touching Souls” at Tewksbury United Methodist Church. Along the way, there will be opportunities to reflect through art and conversation. Guests may drive themselves or carpool, with the day concluding after the final stop. Cost: $92 (9:30–4:00 program, pastries, and lunch included). Transportation to Tewksbury and Lowell is not included.

May 28: Spreading Encouragement w/ Homemade Greeting Cards to Lift the Spirit

Hand-written notes are an excellent form of encouragement, and how better to send them than in a hand-crafted greeting card? In this workshop, you will learn a variety of paper-crafting techniques and use them to create a series of multi-layered cards. We’ll use decorative paper, stamps, ink, die cuts, and embellishments to create beautiful cards suitable for many occasions. Beginners are welcome and no prior paper-crafting experience is needed. Maximum of 20 people. ** Cards pictured are samples and may not represent the cards we will make in the workshop.
